General construction activities compliments the other disciplines within our business.
While we do not operate in traditional residential and house construction, we do undertake the following which have evolved from our civil engineering operations.
Working under both traditional and Design & Build arrangement, we have a proven track record of successfully delivering the following activities:
Permanent Buildings
As well as our core civil engineering activities, we are adept at the construction of permanent buildings. We have constructed traditional construction, steel framed and timber framed buildings ranging from sub stations, commercial units, pavilion buildings and leisure facilities. As well as construction to shell only stage, we have completed buildings to full completion including final fit out and fixtures, fittings and furniture.
We have successfully completed building projects across the UK and supplement our supervision and management teams and established supply chain partners with local suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
Mechanical and Electrical Installations
As part of the building process we often carry out mechanical and electrical installations. In addition to the usual scope of M&E, we are also experienced in the installation of renewable energy and green initiatives such as photovoltaic systems and EV charging points.
Fit Out
We are skilled at delivering high quality retail, commercial and hospitality interior environments. We specialise in transforming spaces with a strong focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail. We provide end-to-end fit out solutions.
External Works
External works are vital to the overall success of a development project. The quality of the areas around building impact on the experience of the building users. We focus our experience and expertise on completing the following elements to the highest possible standard:
- Car parking areas
- Hard landscaping
- Soft landscaping
- External lighting
- Signage
- Street furniture
Modular Buildings
We have worked on a number of projects which required the installation of modular buildings. As part of our scope, we have installed the required foundations, service connection points and the modular building itself. We have then gone on to install, test and commission the M&E as required.
New Services and Utilities
We have completed numerous projects which had a requirement for new incoming services. We have experience in dealing with statutory undertakers as well as multi utilities contractors to facilitate the new supplies for developments. We routinely install the trench and duct systems needed for the services; including backfilling and reinstatement in accordance with the relevant specification.
